Our Story

I founded NextVenture Strategies after experiencing the business sale process firsthand. When I purchased a company from a retiring owner, I gained a deep appreciation for how significant and personal this transition is. It’s not just a financial transaction – it’s the culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice, and legacy-building.

 

That experience showed me how complex the process can feel for owners, even when they’ve built strong, successful companies. There are countless moving parts – from financial records and systems to preparing leadership teams and communicating with buyers. It became clear to me that most owners could benefit from extra support in getting “exit-ready,” not because they’ve done anything wrong, but because selling a business is unlike anything they’ve faced before.
